We have today just signed a new deal purchasing our very own web servers. To date we have been using third party servers, and without being too dismissive, they weren't up to scratch.
We listened to our customers when they told us that the current server solution was no longer meeting their needs and in turn began looking into other alternatives.
We realised that due to our rapid growth, the third party servers were beginning to struggle with the high load of visitors visiting them and the sheer volume of websites that were stored on them.
The Solution
We have now purchased our very own dedicated servers which are situated in the Docklands of London, in one of Europes largest and most efficient data centres.
We transferred all websites hosted with UNB Media, including all email and ftp accounts over to our new servers last night, and after a sleepless night of testing and validation, we are happy to announce that everything went to plan and no websites suffered any downtime.
